Mint Condition Genuine 1949 Derby Glass. 1949 was the 75th running of the Kentucky Derby. The race lasted 2:04 and was won by Ponder and Jockeyed by Steve Brooks. Perfect gift for a 1949 Birth or anniversary.
The 1949 Mint Julep Glass features a frosted glass with green print. A bust of Martin J. "Matt" Winn, president of Churchill Downs is show with "He has seen them all". "Matt" Winn had been to every Kentucky Derby Running up to that 75th year Jubilee. Sadly it would be his last as he dies just a few months later. Reverse has the winners to date.
There is a highly desired variation misprint of this glass in which the words "year" and "Winner" Were left off the design. This listing is for the regular version, still very rare!

Each candle is made of 100% all natural coconut soy wax with clean fragrance oils and a flat braided cotton wick with paper threads woven into the cotton.

Once your order and payment is finalized, you'll receive a confirmation email. When your order has been shipped, typically within 3 business days, you will receive tracking details in an email. Please note that orders will not be mailed over the weekend or on U.S. federal holidays.
Orders are packaged carefully so that your items will arrive in perfect condition. If something is damaged during shipping, please be assured that I want to fix this right away: contact me immediately. Shipping damage must be claimed within 48 hours of order receipt and pictures of the damage will be required for insurance purposes.
Returning
Due to the handcrafted nature of the candles, returns are only accepted on a case by case basis. To request a return, contact me and include your order number. Return requests must be sent within 48 hours of order receipt. Items returned to Pax Rosa without prior approval cannot be refunded.
Please note that the customer will be responsible for shipping costs both ways. Upon return, your item will be inspected. A refund will be issued for the purchase price only provided there are no damages to the returned item: the candle and all labeling must be in new condition.

Exchange requests must be sent within 48 hours of order receipt. Items returned to Pax Rosa for exchange without prior approval cannot be honored.
